I'll go back to a 9-5 job,
slightly more interesting,
than the ones before.
I'll spend some time each day,
struggling with a script,
borrowed from the Chinese.
It is also a solemn resolve,
to hold tight to each oxygen mask,
from books to random walks.
And I leave with new-found confidence,
that my poetry has its audience,
and so, this is no farewell, just another beginning.
This is poem 29 for Robert Lee Brewer's April PAD Challenge 2011. Prompt: "After leaving here poem".
